others. The extremely long range
reflectorless measurement capability exceeds all of our competitors. The
speed and simplicity of our new X-TRAC system in the new impressive RC-3 optical
communication system allows for extreme speed and simplicity for the operator. The
totally cable free operation is just another example of Topcon’s dedication
to bring to the market the latest in wireless technology.
GPT-7000i is the world’s first imaging
total station. This unique product features
a built in CCD camera and is loaded with
the on-board software designed especially
to utilize this great new feature. Added
is the reflectorless measuring feature and
you truly have a unique product designed
for today’s special applications.
Long-range reflectorless measurement out
to 1200 meters or 3900 feet in a compact
efficient well-designed total station is
exactly what you have in the GPT-3000LW.
Because it is so versatile, this is the
perfect instrument for the surveyor that
does a little bit of everything. Available
in 2”, 3” and 5” second
models give you the freedom to choose exactly
what you need. Weighing in at 11.6 lbs.
means that it is light enough to pack around
but yet solid enough to give you the kind
of stability you know you need.
Our GPT-8200 Series Robotic Total Station
has been a real winner for us. The combination
of a mature advanced design with the latest
reflectorless technology updates has produced
an extremely reliable productive robotic
system. Now with the RC-2IIW “Fast
Track” communication option the hassles
associated with radios can be eliminated.
Another added advantage is a completely
cable free system using Bluetooth technology
to communicate between the controller and
the RC-2IIW.
Software
TopSurv field software is our universal
software allowing the user to have maximum
control of the robot, standard total station
or GPS system. This same software can operate
all of our total stations either robotic
or optical completely seamlessly. This is
a very powerful and sophisticated program
built with the intelligence necessary to
simplify and enhance the data collection
process.
Technology
Topcon’s use of advanced technology
in today’s instrumentation is staggering.
Think about it, using light, infrared (IR)
communications to transmit data to and from
a robot avoiding the problems created when
using modems on a busy job site. Or what
about the ability that the robot has to
automatically know where the prism is after
losing lock. This feature is called “Fast
Track”. Incorporating reflectorless
and wireless Bluetooth technology into every
part of the total station line of instruments
shows real interest in providing increased
productivity at every level.
