Topcon GPS has brought forth tremendous
opportunities to expand the markets surveyors
and engineers serve while at the same time
allowing for very large increases in productivity.
Utilizing GPS in many applications has allowed
surveyors accomplish 2 weeks worth of work
in 2 days or less. That represents dramatic
productivity increases!
Hardware
The HiPer XT with eXtended Technology is
the latest in the Topcon’s line-up
of GPS receivers. This product features
internal 2-watt UHF radios that allows for
channel scanning capability. That is, the
radios will automatically seek a clear channel
for broadcasting eliminating most of the
problems associated with crowded frequencies.
This receiver can also be ordered with an
internal GSM modem. The HiPer XT with the
ability to utilize dual constellations (GLONASS)
and clear channel scanning is the leader
of the pack!

The HiPer Lite + is our system that utilizes
Spread Spectrum 900 MHz radios providing
trouble free communications between the
base and the rover. The Hiper Lite + is
like the HiPer XT in that it is completely
“cableless” as well as being
a dual constellation (GPS & GLONASS)
receiver. This system is packed with value!

Software
TopSurv field software is our universal
software allowing the user to have maximum
control of the GPS system. This same software
can operate all of our total stations either
robotic or optical completely seamlessly.
This is a very powerful and sophisticated
program built with the intelligence necessary
to simplify and enhance the data collection
process.

The Topcon GPS+ system incorporates the
most advanced GPS signal processing and
interference reduction in the industry.
At the core is the Paradigm Chip featuring
40 universal channels that can track all
signals. With 40 channels we can track up
to 20 GPS+ satellites at once.
